Baltic - Gateshead - Reeded Window film

Clearview Graphics recently supplied and installed Clear Reeded Window Film – RFC-7 with 7mm flutes to the ground-floor windows of the gym at the Baltic in Gateshead for Robertson Construction.

Reeded window film is an effective way of transforming existing glazing to create the appearance of traditional reeded or fluted glass without the need to replace the glass itself. The vertical reeded pattern creates an attractive architectural finish while also helping to obscure vision through the glazing.

For this project, the clear RFC-7 reeded film was applied to the existing ground-floor glazing. The 7mm flute design provides a distinctive linear appearance that works particularly well on large areas of glass and within modern commercial interiors.

One of the advantages of using reeded window film is that it can provide increased privacy while still allowing natural light to pass through the glazing. This makes it suitable for many commercial environments, including offices, gyms, meeting rooms, reception areas, glass partitions and internal doors.

Applying architectural window film to existing glass can also provide a practical alternative to replacing glazing with specialist decorative glass. The film can be professionally installed directly onto suitable existing glass, allowing the appearance and privacy level of the glazing to be changed with considerably less disruption.

Clearview Graphics supplies a range of reeded window films with different flute widths, colours and finishes, allowing the appearance of the film to be selected to suit the surrounding interior.

In addition to supplying reeded window film throughout the UK, we provide a professional window film installation service for commercial projects.
